Designed to match the performance characteristics of the acclaimed Snell B7 floor-standing loudspeaker, the Snell IC-B7 brings true-to-life sonic textures and tones to a Hidden, in-cabinet solution. The core of the IC-B7 is a D’Appolito Array comprised of two, super-premium, machined magnesium , 4.5-inch, midrange drivers mounted over and under a ultra low-resonance, high-output 1-inch SEAS silk dome tweeter. Developed by Joe D’Appolito, Snell’s Chief Engineer, the array offers startling midrange clarity and holographic imaging. A pair of 8” polypropylene woofers delivers significant low frequency capability and dynamic impact. Snell’s trademark custom crossover networks are individually tuned to the Engineering Reference and high current capable. The 30” x 13” x 11.75” IC-B7VH may be mounted vertically or horizontally, with the array oriented accordingly. A third cabinet option, the IC-B7S, measures 21” x 16.5” x 11”, and is physically optimized for square shaped spaces.
