Stunning Full-Range Tower
As a Tower, the D7 is large enough to maximize the performance of it two 6.5-inch woofers, while setting the tweeter at the ideal height for on-axis listening. This combination of cabinet volume, cone area and driver position allows the Snell D7 its majestic soundstage and extended bass. The balance, coherence and clarity are the result of Snell’s famous design team.

Developed by Snell’s chief engineer, Joe D’Appolito Ph.D., the D7 is a hi-output 2 1/ 2-way with a very low resonance, silk dome tweeter, and two long-excursion 6.5-inch woofers. The crossover is constructed with dedicated circuit boards for both tweeter and woofers. This design assures very low distortion, and optimizes performance when the D7 is bi-amped or bi-wired. The natural cherry or black painted walnut cabinet with solid metal end cap is virtually resonance free. For remarkable stability and its signature look, the D7 stands on four cast-iron feet.

Accommodating real-world room conditions is perhaps the ultimate demand for a loudspeaker. The Series 7 cosmetic standards, combined with room placement features add significant flexibility to this speaker design. For placement near a wall or corner, engage the “Boundary Switch”. If looking to match a particular paint or wood finish, employ Snell’s custom finish option.
