By far the most versatile speaker we build. For use as main or extension speakers, the CLS is a Snell speaker that blends into any décor. Available in black or white, it can be used in a cabinet, on a stand, or attached to a wall.

IDEAL FOR MUSIC OR MOVIES
Voiced to match all Snell speakers. The CLS is perfect by itself or when completing music or cinema systems that feature Snell subs, mains, or surrounds. Aluminum Die-Cast Enclosure. The CLS’s enclosure is carefully designed to maximize performance and please the eye in any setting. The extremely rigid and heavy die-cast aluminum enclosure contributes substantially to the speaker’s ruggedness, weather resistance, and beauty.

Smaller and Better. By molding aluminum, we remarkably preserve the enclosure’s inner dimensions at a fraction of the thickness required by wood. Furthermore, our mold design profiles the CLS’s inner walls for optimal driver performance.

Hand Tuned
Every Snell speaker is constructed using hand-selected components and individually tuned crossover units to guarantee performance to within ±0.5dB of its design reference.

Concealed Mounting System
To preserve its compact and elegant appearance, the CLS wall mounting brackets are designed to be nearly invisible.

Heat Sink/Terminal Plate
Heat-producing crossover components are mounted to a die-cast aluminum heat sink for stable, consistent performance at high power. This large heat sink also draws heat from inside the cabinet, keeping critical driver components cooler. The tweeter has its own multi-finned aluminum heat sink.
