Bottom Octave Bass...Mounts Flush in 2x4 Walls...Includes Unique “Back-Box”
Deep bass needs a great woofer, mounted in a sturdy, well designed enclosure. These requirements severely compromise all in-wall subwoofers, intended for conventional 2” x 4” stud walls...until now. Joe D’appolito, and his Snell team, designed the AMC Sub10 to be shallow enough to fit into a standard wall and still provide first octave bass to an incredible 25Hz at levels up to 110dB! The 3.5-inch deep enclosure extends bass response, while quieting the “boomy” and “chesty” characteristics that are typical of “open-back” in-wall designs. The tricks are a very unique, long-throw, low-profile woofer fitted, along with two 26” long port tubes, to a remarkably innovative cabinet. The result is a homeowner’s dream come true. Bass that duplicates the efforts of big subwoofer in the corner, without...well...the big subwoofer in the corner. For optimum performance, try one, or better still, try two AMC Sub10s with Snell’s 200 Watt sub amp, the SPA 200.
